Cedar Village Animal Clinic, the first of The Village Vets practices, was opened in 1980 by Dr. Steven Soloway. Drs. Tyler and Draper purchased the practice on March 8, 2000, and moved the practice to its present location in October 2007.  The practice name was changed to The Village Vets of Lilburn-Stone Mountain at that time since it is almost literally on the boundary of the two cities.
