Dr. Laura Hooper

Since 2012

Dr. Laura Hooper was born and raised in Lexington, SC. After graduating from high school in 1998, she completed her undergraduate degree in animal and veterinary sciences at Clemson University. She then attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2007. Following veterinary school she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Auburn University. She has been practicing in the Chamblee-Dunwoody area since 2008.

Dr. Hooper and her husband Matt, their two young daughters, a labrador Dixie Belle, miniature pinscher Lily, and Otis the cat reside in Smyrna. Her interests include running, softball, and water sports
