Originally from Douglasville, Georgia, Alyssa moved to her current home in Stone Mountain in 2016, with her husband whom she married on April Fool’s Day, 2016. In her spare time, Alyssa loves hanging out at home or a park with her three dogs - Knuckles (a boxer Mix), Flash (a pit bull mix), and Trixie (a pit bull terrier). She is also in school, studying to become a veterinary technician.
Why she does this: “As long as I can remember, I've always loved any and all animals. Growing up, my childhood home looked like a zoo at any given time with everything from cats to snakes. That love for animals carried over well into my adulthood and being able to create a career where I'm surrounded by them on a daily basis is an indescribable feeling”.

Melissa is originally from Queens, New York. After graduating from high school in 2005, she and her mother moved to Decatur, GA. Her hobbies include reading, watching Netflix, doing word search puzzles, listening to music, and cooking. In her spare time she also likes to go to the movies, explore Atlanta, and just enjoy life.
Why she does this: "I had a cat named Magic and I remember he was always happy to see me and he always made my day better. Being around animals bring me so much joy they provide you with unconditional love and they don't ever judge you. I've always wanted to work with animals and working at an animal hospital is the perfect place for me to be!"

Staci was born and raised in Avondale Estates - where most of her family still live. She grew up with four brothers, one older and three younger. They had rabbits, chickens, roosters, a goose named Honky - that roamed the neighborhood and had to be called to dinner every night, a blue Macaw that her older brother, Charlie, would bring home from his job at the petting zoo at Six Flags, hamsters, gerbils, a cat here and there & and always at least one dog. She also helped her brother Charlie care for his horse Rowdy.
Why she does this: “I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do when I moved back home. A friend asked me to foster a dog and I ended up adopting her - and finding a new destiny for myself in the process.”
