Deborah Adams
Technician Supervisor
Since 2013
“Debbie” was born in Forsyth, GA but moved with her family to Toccoa, GA in 1965, where she attended and graduated from the Stephens County School system. Wanting to be a veterinarian, but circumstances preventing it, she worked in retail for several years before attending North Georgia Vocational and Technical School (North Georgia Technical College) - obtaining a degree in Practical Nursing. She moved with her family to Gwinnett County in 1998 and held a management position with a major day care company. She is currently a senior enrolled in her fourth year at Georgia Gwinnett College, working towards her Bachelors Degree. Mother of two grown children - Stephen (1986), is a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force and recently returned from a 6 month tour of duty in Afghanistan and will soon be in South Korea for a year long tour of duty; and Kimberly (1992), is currently a Junior at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. Debbie has been in the veterinary field since 2000 in many varying positions. She lives with her wonderful rescued cats - Priss, Shiloh, Pudd, and Nicky. She especially enjoys spending time with friends and being outdoors when time permits.
Why she does this: “Animals have always been a passion of mine. I am especially grateful to be allowed to work in a place like The Village Vets with people who share the same passion.”
